Casanova by Lasse Hallström, 2005 (R)

with Heath Ledger, Sienna Miller (The Girl), Jeremy Irons (The Words, The Tudors), Lena Olin (Chocolat), Oliver Platt, Omid Djalili, Lauren Cohan, Charlie Cox, Natalie Dormer, Victoria Arbiter

Lasse Hallstrom's witty romantic comedy stars Heath Ledger as Jacamo Casanova, the infamous and dashing player of 18th-century Venice who holds the key to every woman's heart -- every woman, that is, but one.

Ouh, worse movie of Heath Ledger, probably. A very bad one as a general comment. It is boringly predictable and loud. I can see the similarities between Chocolat and Casanova (same director), but what worked in one failed in the other, the characters were extravagants and cliché in both, but in Casanova, they are not appealing.
